Nip/Tuck is at its best when it is subtle, and you are forced to peel back the layers or analyze it under close scrutiny, so that you can make some bold comparison to how the lives of their patients mimic that of the doctors. And sorry writers, but after all Matt has been through, it really seems far from likely that Matt would've changed that much, being the only seemingly stable individual and a fellow plastic surgeon as well.
